With just two ports, the Signature Mini is simple to use. It is but it requires that you reformat. Oh and I was supposed to get a 320 GB external but when I look at the properties I get 299GB, not exactly pleasing to say the least.

One of the few external drives that doesn't require a power cord to plug in when using. In essence, you could consider this a 320GB jumpdrive ! Very handy for the people who needs to carry last amounts of data for archiving, backups, or just a huge media library ! I've used this drive to backup data quickly during episodes of hard disk drive crashes and it has been a life saver. Relatively easy to carry in a pocket, so its very, very portable. If you don't need 320GB, there is always the 160GB which is far cheaper and just as portable.
Great but one problem November 25, 2008

I love this product -- it's comapct -- attractive -- BUT -- unless I have it connected when I boot up my computer -- it doesn't show up and I can't move files to it. I have used the extra USB connection thinking it might be a low power problem but it doesn't help.
